Kara Groucher

All American Kara Groucher is a middle and long-distance runner. She made her marathon debut at the New York City Marathon on November 2nd, 2008. She finished an amazing 3rd place and became the first American on the podium since Anne Marie Lauck in 1994.





Lauren Jackson

Lauren Jackson is a professional basketball player. The Australian has won championships in the U.S, Russia, Australian and numerous world championships as well. Widely regarded as the best Australian female basketball player of all time, Jackson stands shoulder to shoulder with the best players in the world today.






Victoria Pendleton


World Champions track cyclist, Victoria Pendleton is also a British Olympic amongst other things. Pendleton has won a bronze and three silver medals in the British National Track Championships in 2001 whilst being a student in high school. She has qualified for the England Commonwealth Games team in 2002, won gold in the Women’s Team Sprint in the 2007 UCI Track World Championships and was even named Sportswoman of the the Year 2007. Making her the first cyclist to ever win the award.





Laila Ali


Daughter of the great boxer Muhammad Ali, Laila Ali proudly boasts a degree in business from Santa Monica College as well as being a boxer herself. She is the second child of nine born to Muhammad Ali.






Laure Manaudou


Retired French Olympic, European and World Champion swimmer, Laure Manaudou currently holds the world record for the 400 meter freestyle event. Manaudou has won a silver in the 800 meter freestyle at the Athens Olympic games. She is also only the second Frenchwoman to win three medals in a single Olympic Games.




Becky Hammon


Professional basketball player Becky Hammon plays for the San Antonio Silver Stars of the WNBA. She became a Russian citizen in 2008 and has helped the Russian team to the Olympic semi-finals in 2008







Maria Kirilenko


Professional tennis player Maria Kirilenko won her first WTA Tour title in 2005. Her highest ever ranking came in at 18th back in 2008 on the WTA tour in July.
