Gareth Pugh, a British designer known for his 'cyber-goth' aesthetic and a penchant for black, turned the tables on Paris audiences yesterday with his latest collection.
Touches of the designer's signature 'cyber-goth' aesthetic were still there in the zip detailing and the manga look of some of his pieces

Gone was his usual black leather and hard sculptural look, to be replaced with soft, fluttering slashed chiffon and loose knits. The designer experimented with texture in pencil-thin pleats and woven ribbons, and everything (and we mean everything) came in grey.

Shades ranged from charcoal to pewter to dove and extended to the models' faces and hair, which were dusted in grime. Many looks were finished with dramatic headpieces made from feathers or leather.
