He Is Not A Carrier of Malicious Reports

From Anas ibn Malik radhiyallah hu ‘anhu who said that Allah’s Messenger, Muhammad pbuh said:
”Do you know what calumny (al-‘Adh) is? They said: Allah and His Messenger knows best.

He pbuh said: Conveying the words of some people to others in order to create mischief between them”
Hadith narrated by al-Bukhari

Tale-carrying is a foul disease; when it enters the heart it corrupts it, and when the heart is corrupt the rest of the body becomes corrupt and one’s actions are destroyed. How many people there are today whose evil actions have been made alluring to them by their devils, so that they think that their deeds are good and free from blemish! How many there are today who think that tale-carrying is a good deed and righteous action which they are carrying out! However these people who circulate amongst the servants of Allah, the One free and far removed from all imperfections, spreading mischief, falsehood and leading hearts astray, then the sincere Muslim should not give them any chance to operate but should rather turn away from them and eep away from them! This is the least punishment that is possible for these people!

This sickness of tale-carrying only finds a place in hearts which are filled with love of this world, the hearts of those who use the Religion for lowly and despicable ends, and we seek Allah’s refuge from that! However, as for the sincere Muslim who strives to follow and apply the guidance sent by his Lord, then: He is not Attached to this World

Dasar Ekonomi PR Bakal Jadikan Selangor Pengeluar Pisang Utama Dunia

KUALA KUBU BHARU 20 Apr - Rakyat negeri Selangor kini semakin yakin dengan pentadbiran Pakatan Rakyat pimpinan Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim berdasarkan pencapaian ekonomi yang memberangsangkan.
Penduduk di daerah Hulu Selangor kini dapat menikmati hasil melalui polisi dan program yang dijalankan kerajaan negeri.
"Kita datang ke sini bukannya untuk melancarkan sesuatu, tetapi untuk menuai hasil yang kita semai semenjak dua tahun lalu," kata beliau pada Majlis Perasmian Ladang Dole Sebiro di Bernam Jaya.
Ladang pisang seluas 500 ekar ini merupakan projek perintas bagi daerah Hulu Selangor, dan kerajaan negeri dengan kerjasama firma perladangan antarabangsa, Dole Sebiro bercadang untuk menambah keluasan ladang tersebut sehingga 1,000 ekar.
Majlis tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Penasihat Ekonomi Negeri Selangor, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, calon Pakatan Rakyat, Datuk Zaid Ibrahim, Exc Pemodenan Pertanian, Pengurusan Sumber Alam dan Pembangunan Usahawan, Yaacob Sapari serta Presiden Dole Asia, James Prideaux.
"Tugas yang diamanahkan kepada kami adalah untuk memberikan perkhidmatan yang terbaik dan meningkatkan kualiti hidup rakyat.
"Daerah Hulu Selangor mempunyai prospek ekonomi yang baik berdasarkan lokasinya yang strategik," kata Khalid.
Dengan kewujudan projek ladang ini, penduduk di Bernam Jaya dan kawasan sekitarnya akan dapat menikmati hasil dari limpahan ekonomi dari program yang dijalankan kerajaan negeri.
Dole Inc merupakan syarikat pengeluar pisang dan buah-buahan terbesar di dunia yang menguasai saluran pasaran dan teknologi pertanian dunia.
Dole Sebiro merupakan satu-satunya wakil pengeluar yang dilantik Dole Inc di Malaysia melalui hasil kerjasama dengan syarikat tempatan.
Sehingga kini, syarikat memiliki ladang seluas 500 hektar di Hulu Selangor yang telah mengambil seramai 200 orang pekerja yang kebanyakkannya terdiri daripada kalangan rakyat tempatan.
Menjelang Jun 2010, dijangkakan Ladang Dole di Hulu Selangor mampu mengeluarkan hasil sebanyak 20,000 kotak pisang dalam tempoh seminggu.
Hasil tersebut bukan sahaja akan dibekalkan ke pasaraya di sekitar Lembah Klang, malah produk tempatan ini akan dieksport secara meluas ke Indonesia, Singapura, Hong Kong dan negara-negara Asia Tengah.
Ini sekaligus akan meletakkan Malaysia sebagai pengeluar utama pisang dalam jangka masa panjang.
Usahasama Ladang Dole Sebiro dan PKNS adalah salah satu langkah proaktif oleh Selangor untuk meningkatkan nilai pulangan dari tanah-tanah milik Kerajaan Negeri.
Melalui usahasama ini, Dole Sebiro diberikan pajakan pendek bersyarat agar tanah dapat diusahakan dan membawa pulangan dengan membayar pajakan kepada PKNS.
Pada masa yang sama, Kerajaan Negeri membantu mewujudkan
kegiatan ekonomi di kawasan pendalaman dan peluang-peluang pekerjaan baru untuk masyarakat setempat yang kian terpinggir.
Kerjasama dengan Dole Inc juga menandakan usaha serius Kerajaan Negeri untuk mempercepatkan aplikasi pertanian moden untuk menembusi pasaran dunia.
Anwar melalui Pejabat Penasihat Ekonomi Negeri Selangor turut mengambil inisiatif untuk duduk berbincang dengan Dole Inc bagi mengenal pasti kerjasama yang dapat diambil terutamanya melalui perkongsian bijak dengan Kerajaan Negeri.
Aspek-aspek tumpuan yang akan ditekankan adalah teknologi pertanian moden, strategi pemasaran, latihan atau peningkatan keupayaan dan lain-lain aspek penting.

Baginda juga menganggap kejayaan dalam dua tahun ini ialah prestasi tadbir urus kerajaan Selangor hingga mendapat pengiktirafan Sijil Tanpa Teguran daripada Ketua Audit Negara pada tahun lalu.

Pengiktirafan itu sekali gus meyakinkan Sultan Sharafuddin bahawa kerajaan negeri pada masa ini, dapat mentadbir Selangor dengan baik.

Titah baginda, kerajaan yang baik, telus dan bertanggungjawab yang dilaungkan kepimpinan kerajaan sekali gus membentuk paradigma baru dalam menyampaikan mesej keadilan dan kesejahteraan kepada rakyat.


Baginda turut gembira kerana kebanyakan program yang dilaksanakan oleh kerajaan negeri dapat merakyatkan ekonomi Selangor melalui pelbagai pendekatan yang dibuat.


Antaranya ialah Pakej Rangsangan Ekonomi Negeri Selangor, program SPIES, pengagihan 10 peratus keuntungan kepada mereka yang berhak, pemuliharaan dan pembangunan Sungai Klang, skim pinjaman mikrokredit, pembagunan sukan melalui Majlis Sukan Negeri Selangor dan pembangunan projek teknologi.


Baginda bertitah demikian ketika merasmikan Mesyuarat Pertama Penggal Ketiga Sidang Dewan Undangan Negeri Selangor Kali Ke-12 pada 12 April 2010.

Uprooted, God Is Greatest

Late afternoon of Thursday 8 April 2010, there occured a "crazy" thunderstorm, with ghastly winds, lightning and heavy downpour of sky juice, resulting in many small trees, and this particulr big tree being uprooted, in a manner as if it was nicely placed in that fallen position without causing any accident or damage to life and property.

The Muslim Does Not Commit Oppression

From Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah (radhiyallah hu ‘anhu) who said that Allah’s Messenger, Muhammad pbuh said: “Beware of committing oppression for on the Day of Resurrection oppression will be darkness, and beware of avarice for avarice destroyed those who came before you, it let them into shedding blood and into making lawful that which was forbidden for them”
(Hadis narrated by Muslim)


Oppression is of two types: (i) A person oppressing his own soul, and (ii) a person oppressing other people. Both of these have been forbidden by Allah, the One free and far removed from all imperfections. So a person oppressing his own soul causes him to feel at home with his sins and to commit them, and causes him to abandon acts of obedience to Allah. Then with regards to him oppressing others, it is by violating their rights, by behaving unjustly in dealings with them, and by lowering their status in order to raise one’s own ! On top of this, what oppression is worse than attributing partners to Allah in one’s worship. And we seek Allah’s refuge from that ! Oppression is, furthermore, the key to sins, since if a person refrains from oppression his heart becomes tender and his certainty increases, whereas oppression will cause sins to take hold of him and corrupt him so that his tongue becomes a venomous snake ready with poison and harm, lies and fabrication, filled with malice and envy. The true Muslim is far removed from all of this and furthermore: He is not a Carrier of Malicious Reports.

He does not Take Sins Lightly

From Sahl ibn Sa’d radhiyallah hu ‘anhu said that Allah’s Messenger, Muhammad pbuh said: Beware of sins which are treated as being minor, just like a people who encamp in the centre of a valley, so someone brings a stick of firewood and someone else brings a stick until they are therefore able to bake their bread. Likewise sins which are treated as being minor and for which the person is taken to account will destroy him.

So it is just as the noble companion ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ood said: The believer sees his sins as if he were sitting beneath a mountain which he feared was about to fall upon him, whereas the wicked sees his sins like a man who finds a fly settle upon his nose, so he does this (one of the narrators said: He brushes it away from his nose with his hand)

The Muslim should realize the Greatness of his Lord, the One free and far removed from all imperfections, and His tremendous Power and Might, and he should not think of the sin as being small or great ! Rather he should think of it with regard to the One he is disobeying !

Those sins which are ignored by the weak hearted cause their destruction by removing Iman and fear of Allah from their hearts !

When a person regards sins and acts of disobedience as something slight then he is one who is oppressing his own soul, and that should never occur, since The Muslim Does not Commit Oppression.

A Time for this and a Time for that

From Hanzalah al-Usayyidee who said: Abu Bakar met and asked: How are you O Hanzalah? I replied: Hanzalah is guilty of hyprocrisy! He said; free is Allah and far removed from all defects! What are you saying? I said: When you are with Allah’s Messenger pbuh and he reminds us of the Fire and Paradise it is as if we are seeing it with our own eyes. Then when we depart from Allah’s Messenger pbuh and attend to our wives, our children and our business, then much of this slips from our minds. Abu Bakar said: By Allah we also experience the same. So I went with Abu Bakar until we entered upon Allah’s Messenger pbuh, I said: Hanzalah is guilty of hypocrisy O Messenger of Allah pbuh! So Allah’s Messenger pbuh said: And how is that? I said: When we are with you, you remind us of the Fire and of Paradise and it is as if we are seeing it with our eyes. Then when we depart from you and attend to our wives, children and business then much of this slips from our minds. So Allah’s Messenger pbuh said: By Him in whose Hand is my soul if you remained continually as you are when you are with me and in remembering (Allah) then the angels would shake hands with you upon your beds and upon your roads. But O Hanzalah, (there is) a time for this and atime for that, (there is) a time for this and a time for that, (there is) a time for this and a time for that.
Hadis narrated by Muslim)

So both of this times are regulated by the order of Allah, as has preceded. His time for serious matters is regulated according to the Book (Quran) and the Sunnah, and his jesting is kept free of anything forbidden and accompanied only by that which Allah has prescribed.

So he does not, through negligence, allow his jesting to become a way in which he falls into sin. Indeed how he could he do this when He does not Take Sins Lightly.
